Sales activity increased per 19.9 cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 862 transactions. A closer look shows house sales increased by 21.6 per cent and unit sales increased by 24.1 per cent whereas vacant land sales decreased by 16.7 per cent.
Properties for sale
There were 7,261
properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is up 1 per cent compared with the previous week. This can be attributed to both house and unit listings increasing 1.1 per cent while vacant land listings also increased very slightly.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 4.2 per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and 12.1 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 1,976
properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1 per cent lower than the previous week. Last week's rental listings figure is 35.2 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago but 15.9 per cent lower than a year ago.
REIWA members reported 750 properties leased, which is 24.4 per cent higher than the previous week and 5.6 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago but 7.7 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
