Its relatively close to both Perth city and Midland with a train line that runs from Perth to Hazelmere every 20 minutes. The strategic location of the residential lots in Hazelmere is considered by the City of Swan to be appropriate for higher density housing, and as a result a number of lots are currently under consideration for increased zoning.
