Carmel is appriximately 7.1 kilometres from Perth CBD located within the City of Kalamunda. The name Carmel was adopted in 1915 and means "park" or "garden of God" in Hebrew. Carmel is a mixture of suburbia and green landscape, with many vineyards, hobby farms and national parks in the area.
