Hi, I'm Staum (pronounced Storm) and on 1st March 2017 my family business, Main Property Management commenced trading.
After 30 years in & out of the real estate business, including years in Property Management as well as Sales, I decided to start my own business so I could concentrate solely on Property Management - giving Owners/Investors 100% good old fashioned service.
While our Company Logo is themed on the Western Suburbs Pine Tree displays (I've chosen 4 - one for each of my children); and we do specialize & actively seek managements in the Western Suburbs, we are taking on a few special outer suburb managements to get us up & running. By special, I mean we will look at all areas should an Owner contact us.
All of our Owners receive a unique & great service.
Why have I opened my own agency?
The simple answer is so I can be in charge of giving great service to my Owners, and in turn Tenants.
As the Director & Property Manager the buck stops with me! I'm the Licensee and hopefully your Property Manager. You won’t ever deal with between 4 - 7 property managers (or more) in a 12-month period, which very sadly does happen at a lot of real estate agencies these days. You will deal with me, or my Daughter/Assistant Emma.
Emma finished Year 12 at the end of 2016. She is a bright young lady looking forward to learning property management & eventually taking on more of a lead role after a few years as my Assistant.
Together we are building a small port-folio from scratch. When we reach our targeted number of managed properties we will not take on more.

A little about me: Together with my wonderful husband of almost 30 years Peter, we have four beautiful adult children. Peter is an old-fashioned type of fellow & a true gentleman. A family of six, we all have quite different personalities so there's never a dull moment in our family life. Please don’t get me wrong – we've had our fair share of turbulent ups and downs; no doubt like most families. But we soldier on!
During my professional life and as mentioned earlier, I've done numerous years in the real estate industry. Real estate office locations have included: Albany, Applecross, Kellerberrin, Leinster, Subiaco & a few other city suburbs.
Other companies I've worked for, and thoroughly enjoyed are: Western Mining/BHPBilliton - Leinster, WA Police Dept. - Leinster and Morawa SHS & AG College. I've always left of my own accord - mainly due to husband work moves. We are now 100% settled in Claremont.
