Opportunities like this are becoming incredibly hard to find in Dunsborough - especially in locations as tightly held and highly regarded as Cape Rise.
Positioned within one of the town’s most sought after family neighbourhoods, 9 Miles Avenue offers an outstanding chance to secure a substantial 765m² parcel of land surrounded by quality homes, modern builds and a community that continues to grow in popularity year after year.
Flat, generous in size and set within an upmarket pocket of Dunsborough, the possibilities here are exciting. Whether you’ve been dreaming of building the ultimate family home, a spacious coastal retreat, or a property designed to make the most of the South West lifestyle, this block gives you the space and setting to do it properly.
Cape Rise has become one of Dunsborough’s standout residential addresses for good reason. Quiet streets, quality homes, nearby parks and open spaces and a genuinely family friendly feel have made it incredibly popular with both locals and sea changers alike. And with vacant land now becoming increasingly scarce in Dunsborough, opportunities to buy into established, high quality estates like this are few and far between.
In a town where demand continues to grow and available land continues to shrink, securing a premium homesite of this size and calibre is becoming harder by the day. Buyers waiting for “the next one” are often left disappointed.
If you’ve been waiting for the right block in the right location to build something special, this is the moment to act.

The townsite of Dunsborough is located on the coast, 12 kilometres southeast of Cape Naturaliste and approximately 19 kilometres of Busselton. It was gazetted as a Townsite in 1879, but land for a townsite was set aside here in the late 1830's, and there is a recorded whale fishery at "Dunsbro" in 1850.
Dunsborough is located adjacent to Dunn Bay from which it derives its name. The bay is believed to have been named by Governor James Stirling , March 1830, whilst on the "Eagle" carrying out a survey of Geographe Bay. It is named after Captain Richard Dalling Dunn, under whom Stirling served on the "Hibernia"120 and the "Armide"38 in 1810-1811 (Stirling named a number of features in Western Australia after naval officers under whom he served or was associated with) When Dunsborough first appeared on a map in 1839 it was spelt "Dunnsbro" but the extra n appears to have disappeared by 1850, and the spelling of "bro" was amended to "borough"when the name was gazetted in 1879.
