An Impressive Home Offering Lifestyle & Long Term Value

A home that immediately stands apart for its quality and thoughtful design, 74 Dunsborough Lakes Drive, Dunsborough offers a refined yet highly functional layout suited to both relaxed living and long term value.

The location adds another compelling layer - within walking distance to both the Dunsborough town centre and the beach, this is a lifestyle position that consistently underpins strong buyer demand and long term investment appeal.

The timber decked portico and statement entry doors create a strong first impression, leading into an interior where natural light enhances the generously sized master suite at the front of the home, complete with a modern, private ensuite. Designed with flexibility in mind, this front section of the home - including the master suite and adjoining living zone - can be closed off to create a private retreat, ideal for multi-generational living, guests or holiday accommodation.

The layout has been carefully considered to maximise versatility, offering three distinct living zones. A dedicated theatre room with reverse cycle air conditioning offers the perfect retreat for movie nights, while a second enclosed lounge provides flexibility - ideal as an additional theatre, kids’ zone or quiet escape.

At the heart of the home, the open plan living, dining and kitchen area creates a central hub where everything comes together. The kitchen is well appointed with quality stainless steel appliances, generous storage, a large fridge recess and a breakfast bar that naturally becomes a gathering point. Reverse cycle air conditioning ensures year round comfort in this main living space, while the recently completed upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms & laundry remove the need for immediate capital expenditure.

The accommodation continues with three queen sized guest bedrooms, each fitted with built in robes, serviced by a newly renovated guest bathroom that feels fresh and contemporary. A spacious laundry with separate toilet adds further practicality to the floorplan.

Outdoors, the property really opens up - an expansive undercover decked patio overlooks lush, fully reticulated lawns and established gardens, offering plenty of room for entertaining, relaxing or letting kids and pets enjoy the space. A garden shed plus an additional storage shed ensure there’s room for all the extras.

A double automatic garage completes the package, adding convenience and security.

At this price point, the property represents a highly attractive entry into a tightly held, high demand Dunsborough market. Equally suited as a well appointed family home, a lock and leave holiday base, or a smart investment, it offers a combination of location, land value, layout flexibility and completed upgrades that newer builds simply cannot replicate.

Dunsborough overview

The townsite of Dunsborough is located on the coast, 12 kilometres southeast of Cape Naturaliste and approximately 19 kilometres of Busselton. It was gazetted as a Townsite in 1879, but land for a townsite was set aside here in the late 1830's, and there is a recorded whale fishery at "Dunsbro" in 1850.

Dunsborough is located adjacent to Dunn Bay from which it derives its name. The bay is believed to have been named by Governor James Stirling , March 1830, whilst on the "Eagle" carrying out a survey of Geographe Bay. It is named after Captain Richard Dalling Dunn, under whom Stirling served on the "Hibernia"120 and the "Armide"38 in 1810-1811 (Stirling named a number of features in Western Australia after naval officers under whom he served or was associated with) When Dunsborough first appeared on a map in 1839 it was spelt "Dunnsbro" but the extra n appears to have disappeared by 1850, and the spelling of "bro" was amended to "borough"when the name was gazetted in 1879.
