A well-loved character home in Forrestfield with great entertaining spaces throughout, freshly painted, awesome outdoors, side access through to a workshop and subdivision potential too! Whether you are looking for a space to live in and enjoy, or a block to invest in and prosper- this is the opportunity you've been looking for and the answer to all of your questions.

The Home:
This is a light filled and welcoming property that is perfect for you to call home. There are multiple bright indoor living spaces with full length windows and character slate flooring. It has been freshly and thoroughly repainted with near new carpets too so all the hard work has been already done for you. The kitchen is located in the heart of the home overlooking formal dining spaces and out towards your rear entertaining patio with green views out towards the garden. There is a heap of storage, gas cooking, built in dishwasher and more.

All living spaces are comfortably air conditioned with LED power saving downlighting too. The three bedrooms are well proportioned and ultra comfy. Positioned close to the 'cabin' style bathroom and away from the main living areas so that your late night Netflix binge watching or Call of Duty marathon will not disturb your housemates. Cool.

The Block:
A fully fenced yard with established fruit trees and an awesome gable entertaining patio. Reticulation to the front yard and gorgeous green spaces throughout. This property is the perfect setting for your house warming party. Secure side access also provides a direct route through to a large powered workshop at the rear of the property. Whether you need some space for the hobby's or some space for the home business this suits both one and all.

The Potential:
Sitting comfortably on a 708 sqm rectangular block that has the desirable dual density zoning of R25/40 means you can enjoy the space that is on offer today and still be comfortable land banking here into the future too. There is the possibility to retain the fantastic existing home and create a new block at the rear (subject to all relevant approvals) or possibly demolish the existing dwelling to create three entirely new sites. All developments are of course subject to relevant local/state approvals but the possibility that is here is huge!

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
