Neat and Tidy 2 Bed Duplex on 1139 sqm

What a great opportunity for someone who wants to down size or start with a decent sized bit of land to play with, just over a quarter acre block.

The home has fresh paint throughout and some new floor coverings and window treatments. Spacious living area, functional kitchen with plenty of space for more wall cabinets. The master bedroom is a good size and will accommodate a queen sized bed, bedroom two is a double, both have carpet which is in good condition. The bathroom is fairly original, there is a separate toilet and laundry with access to the back patio area. For your comfort a large split system air conditioner keeps the home cool in summer and cosy in winter.

There is a common wall between the two properties and no strata fees, each home has its own driveway.

There is a carport at the front of the house. There may be some potential to extend the building subject to Shire regulations.

The land is well fenced at the rear, with plenty of room for a dog, then there is a gate into a different part of the block with huge potential for growing fruit and veggies, more space for the dog to run.

It is only a short distance from Mundaring, shopping and facilities and there is a bus stop very close to the property.

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
