A dedicated home cinema and sunken lounge at the front of the home provide the perfect balance of entertainment and escape - whether it's movie nights in or a space to unwind in total comfort.

At the heart of the home is a chef's kitchen finished with sleek stone, a generous island bench, and full-height windows that frame the river like artwork. From here, slide effortlessly out to a spacious alfresco deck ideal for outdoor dining with one of Perth's most iconic backdrops.

Downstairs, a separate study offers flexibility to convert into a fourth bedroom, while the modern powder room and low-maintenance laundry courtyard add day-to-day ease. Outside, terraced gardens cascade down to your private foreshore access - perfect for kayaking, fishing, or sunset drinks on the lower patio.

Upstairs, the retreat continues. A secondary family lounge spills out onto a river-facing balcony, while the master suite brings true indulgence with its dressing area, spa bath, and floor-to-ceiling glazing that lets the river in. Two additional bedrooms share a stylish bathroom and enjoy their own serene outlooks.

Additional highlights include a triple garage with boat or caravan space, secure electric gate entry, 6kW solar, fully irrigated gardens, and seamless indoor-outdoor connection throughout.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
