Wake Up To Waves!

Front-row sunsets, sensual sea breezes and a location that feels like a permanent holiday - welcome to your Shark Bay escape.

Perfectly perched at the whisper-quiet cul-de-sac end of the terrace and gazing out across the ocean, this unique and iconic 4 bedroom 3 bathroom beach house delivers space, soul and serious coastal charm just footsteps from the calm, crystal-clear waters of tranquil Netta Beach.

It's the kind of place where mornings start with salty air and end with golden horizons melting into the water. The best part is, your own personal modern touches will only add to its endless appeal.

A low-maintenance front yard dominated by artificial turf - and a delightful wraparound entry verandah - provide you with your first slice of the mesmerising ocean panorama that is locked in for good.

Inside, there's room for everyone - and then some - making it ideal as a permanent seaside base, a lock-up-and-leave retreat or a high-performing Airbnb-style holiday rental with income potential to match the premium position it so impressively offers.

Upon entry, a spacious and carpeted open-plan family and dining area extends out to the yard and takes in the all-encompassing sea vista at the very same time. Incorporated into the design are a timber bar and a practical kitchen with double sinks, a Miele dishwasher, stainless-steel Chef double ovens and stainless-steel range-hood and gas-cooktop appliances.

Also on the ground floor are a separate toilet, a separate laundry, a main family bathroom with a shower and powder vanity, second and third bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and a massive carpeted fourth/guest bedroom or second living/lounge room - with soaring high ceilings - that can be whatever you want it to be. It also leads into a brand-new fully-tiled and renovated second bathroom - with a walk-in rain shower, toilet and twin "his and hers" vanity basins - that is the pick of the light and bright wet areas.

Upstairs, there is a built-in study nook with a desk and storage - plus two separate full-height sliding-door linen cupboards. An enormous master retreat boasts its own intimate ensuite - with a shower, vanity and separate toilet - and seamlessly flows out on to a large tiled under-cover front balcony with the best sunset vantage point of all.

Back outside, covered patio entertaining is complemented by a ceiling fan and the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore.

Within walking distance of the town centre, this tempting Terrace setting is also close to the local pub, post office, newsagency, the Shark Bay Marine Park and less than 20 minutes away from swimming with the dolphins at family-friendly Monkey Mia.

With so much to explore, experience and enjoy in stunning Shark Bay, this is more than just a home - it's your ticket to an unforgettable lifestyle opportunity!

Denham overview

Denham is a townsite located in Shark Bay 831 kilometres north north-east of Perth. The townsite was gazetted in 1898, and at that time was locally known as "Freshwater Camp". The government surveyor who surveyed the townsite, C M Denny, chose the name Denham for the townsite, deriving the name from the adjacent Denham Sound. The Sound in turn is named after Captain Henry Mangles Denham, a Royal Navy Hydrographer who surveyed a portion of Shark Bay in the HMS Herald in 1858.

The site chosen for this townsite was the only location in Shark Bay providing a good supply of fresh water. The local population at that time was principally engaged in pearling, and many opposed declaring a townsite, because of the process used to obtain the pearls and pearl shell. The pearlers used "shell pits" and "pogey tubs" in which they deposited the dead pearl shell fish, allowing it to come to a state of putrescence before boiling down. This enabled them to collect the pearls that were not visible when the pearl shells were opened on the beach. They believed the smell of their industry would force them to move away from the townsite where health laws would now apply.
